This is a deep and philosophical question. If Jesus Christ and The Church of The Latter Day Saints (Mother Theresa, anyone?) is so great, why did they take a huge slot on Technorati, advertising their church?
Surely all they need is something good and chocolatey to bite into?
If a church is good, why does it need to advertise?
And why do it on Technorati?
We have no golden tablets. Ours are edible! And we attract new congregants daily without the need to place adverts. For every baking is to the glory of Her Chocolatey Mistress, yea, even the cakes with but a smidgen of chocolate within them.
Nor do we declare the eating of The Eccles Cake to be a sin, nor the Madeira Cake, nor the Apple Upside Down Cake.
Advertising has no place in the theology here. We are not an evangelical church. Simply bake a Chocolate Cake and you are already saved.
