Writings in the ancient tablets show that “adding Bling to your Cake” (though the word ‘bling’ is a recent invention) is not unacceptable, though should be confined to special celebration cakes.
Hitherto confined to candles for birthdays and anniversaries, as in the example here, the Baking has agreed to allow, for a limited period, Chocolate Cake to be offerings up with edible jewels.
Such permission is an Indulgence and is not to be misused. The most suitable jewels are those whose clarity and sugary goodness allow the chocolate to shine through, for the greater glory of The Chocolatey Mistress. It is considered that she will be well pleased.
